A message from the President of the Cary Downtown Farmers Market, Dan Pike
Hello Patrons of the Cary Downtown Farmers Market (CDFM),
As the President of the Board for the CDFM, I want to make you aware of an opportunity coming up on Tuesday evening to learn all about the upcoming bond referendum that will be on the October ballot. The bond is exceptionally important to the CDFM as it contains monies for the second phase of the Cary downtown park. If the bond is approved and subsequently funded, the CDFM will have a new, permanent home in the second phase of the park. This is very exciting for us and our future so we strongly encourage you to learn all you can about the bond and go out on October 8 and cast your vote. Now for information regarding the meeting.
We wanted to let you know that Cary Town Manager Sean Stegall will be giving a short (30 minute) presentation and answering our questions about the upcoming bond referendum vote. We hope you will be able to attend. The projects included in the bond referendum would certainly affect the Market if approved, and we want you to be able to make the best decision for yourself based on the facts.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday September 10 at the Cary Theater (122 E. Chatham Street) and begins at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 pm for refreshments and mingling.
The bond vote is October 8, and, either way, the outcome will affect the Market and the Cary community for decades to come.Click here to learn more, including the dates, times, and locations of other informational meetings.
Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you at the meeting on Tuesday Tuesday September 10 at the Cary Theater.
