VENDOR APPLICATION

The Cary Downtown Farmers Market Association is comprised of local residents who sell their products at the Cary Downtown Farmers Market. Our mission is to improve community health through access to local produce and educate the community about the benefits of eating fresh, local produce, meats, dairy, etc. We aim to promote the preservation of local farmland and sustainability while building bonds between residents of Cary and surrounding areas and their local farmers.

The Traditional Market season operates each Saturday 8:00 am-12:00 pm from April through October. The market is open rain or shine.

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the Cary Downtown Farmers Market!  Applications for the 2020 Season will be accepted from Jan 3rd – Jan 31st.  Applications will be reviewed around the beginning of February and notification of Acceptance will be sent out around the end of February.  Booth Payment Packages and Details can be found here.

Required for Applying:

-$35 Non-refundable Application Fee for New Vendors; $25 Non-refundable Application Fee for Current Vendors.  This is required regardless of acceptance into Market.  This fee covers administration and operations of paperwork and document review. All Vendors: Full Time, Part Time, and Guest Vendors are required to pay the non-refundable application fee.

-Copy of your sales tax registration or signed exemption

Please Note: Applications submitted after Jan 2020 and thru out the 2020 Season will only be considered if space is available and market is not already saturated with applicant’s vendor category.   If applying after open enrollment please email the Market Manager directly at manager@caryfarmersmarket.org to inquire about interest and availability prior to completing the application and submitting the non-refundable application fee.

Each application is accompanied by a set of rules that govern the operation of the market. PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE SET OF RULES BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION.

Only complete applications will be considered.

The application fee can be paid either by cash, check or credit card.  Checks should be addressed to CDF Market Assoc. Credit card payments can be made online through the market’s website.
