With an eye toward sustainability and a healthier future, Nurtured by Nature Growers was created to repurpose local food waste while encouraging North Carolinians to grow and consume nutritious fresh foods. Our company is partnered with local Wake County grocery stores to collect expired produce and turn it into feedstock for our Red Wiggler composting worms. The nutrient-dense, 100% pure earthworm castings (vermicompost) are used in our greenhouse and nursery to grow bountiful and resilient fruit trees and berry plants.
